Hello, and why I started writing

I read a blog post by Alexey Guzey, Why You Should Start a Blog Right Now, where he goes over why someone should start a blog. I encourage you to read it. Two things stuck with me. Writing helps you think. It also helps you find ideas you would not have had otherwise. I believe in the first because I used to take notes in notebooks and they helped me think and remember. Problem is they got lost, and the ones I still have are impossible to search. So I’m writing here to think, remember, learn, share and search.
What I expect to write about
Mostly the things I spend my days on:
- Architecture. I spent a large part of the last three years making architecture changes. I migrated a React monolith to micro frontends. After that I designed the TypeScript architecture we used to convert our JavaScript UI and APIs. Right now I’m building my own Claude Code and would like to share how it’s turning out.
- AI tooling. At work we migrate large features with agentic workflows. That has cut our migration time by 80%. I learned how to build these workflows from Lauren’s pstack and Matt Pocock’s skills. We use both in the migration.
- Unoriginal writing. The term is from Alexey’s post. It means sharing things other people made, so good ideas reach more readers. Recently I watched a video by Vasilios Syrakis on getting the most out of an LLM for learning, and I now use his method.

Share things I enjoy and that are useful to others, whether they’re original or not.
